I am writing this journal to inform all of you that I have decided to switch to a new account here on DeviantART.

I know that this is not an easy thing... for you or for me. But if you would like to continue following my art, please add me to your DA watch list. I have some great things to come, trust me. No longer will you have to deal with my constant rants about my artist block and my lack of direction in my work. No. An hour with a notebook and a ballpoint pen and I am ready to go. I have a clear idea of where I want to be in my "career" on DeviantART down the road, and I intend to get there.
My reasons for leaving this account:
- I need to take my art seriously... start getting commissions going, etc.
- I am tired of being cramped by all of my old work. I don't even make pixels anymore, yet the majority of my gallery is full of them!
- I need a new username
- My birthday is not correct on this account
- I need to shake loose any inactive watchers
- I want my gallery to represent my current skill set... not my skills from 2010.

I've already set up a new premium membership. I will not be deleting Dawndance, but I will transfer over some of my manips, maybe. Maybe. Thank you to everyone who has supported me as Dawndance.

Good news first... I kicked my cold in the arse () so now I am cough-free, snot-free, and drowsy-free. Whheeeee!
Now the important stuff!
I. Am. Desperately. Stuck. In. My. Art. Life.
Yeah... basically I am sick of dabbling in different mediums (manipulating, painting, pixelling, photography, etc), and I need your help to point me in a direction that I can focus on, improve, and most of all enjoy for crying out loud!
So I guess this is a "speak now or forever hold your peace" kind of thing. If you like a type of art I make and you think I can excel in that area of "creation", TELL ME! Just comment here or note me. Either works! I am just so sick of being stuck in this deep dark hole of nothingness when it comes to my direction of my art.
So speak up!

Don't you just hate a nasty flu?
Yeah..... So do I.
I am bedridden for the day; my only company being Ray Bradbury's Dandelion Wine... And a box of tissues, of course. I am writing to you all from the comfort of my mattress under a lumpy duvet cover and extra blankets via my iPod Touch.
But hey, at least I don't have to do any work!
This of course means that I will not be making any progress on the wonderful manipulation I started yesterday morning... It also means that you all will have to be a bit more patient regarding the art trade "winners" (sorry, couldn't find a better word... P: ). Hopefully I can get my head in the right place and kick this cold in the butt asap.
Until then, enjoy the snow that's making its way across the Pacific Northwest... I know I am!
